Srinagar, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday launched a web portal to intensify the process of providing relief and kind appointment to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in the union area.
Sinha said that the portal developed by the Home Department in collaboration with the National Informatics Center will be a centralized platform to catch and maintain wide district-wise data on terrorism affected families.
LG said in a post on X, “A dedicated web portal was launched today for terrorist victim families in Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative will streamlide and intensify the process of providing relief, compassionate appointments and other forms of assistance to those who are suffering from terrorism in UT.”
Sinha said, “I personally oversee the prevention of all matters in Monito Ring and UT.”
On 13 July, Sinha handed over appointment letters to the families of 40 terrorist victims in Baramulla.
Speaking on the occasion, he had said that the government was committed to providing jobs and justice to terrorist victims. He also said that the days of getting the jobs of the family members of the terrorists were over.
