Brandon Aaronson And Joe Rodon scored the opening goal leeds Beat West Ham 2-1 pm Elland Road To inflict more misery on Londoners.

Rodon was recently praised by Leeds boss Daniel Farke for his improved goal threat from set pieces this season, easily beating his marker Lucas Paqueta to head in Sean Longstaff’s corner for his second goal of the season.
The Hammers suffered another blow in the first half when left-back Ollie Scarles had to go off after lengthy treatment with an apparent shoulder injury and was replaced by Callum Wilson.
A late flag by a linesman and a lengthy VAR check to confirm Paqueta was offside before slamming home a ricochet inside the area added to the spectators’ frustration.
Former Leeds winger Crescencio Somerville, making his first return to Elland Road since his departure in 2024, was then booked for his late challenge on Longstaff.

The Leeds fans endured an anxious four minutes of extra time, but the Hammers were denied another chance.
