Lauren Sanchez, the fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, revealed in a post on Instagram that he is still using the desk he built when he started the company. In the post, Ms. Sanchez shared a photo of Mr. Bezos sitting in a chair with a laptop on his desk. Among other things, she added an old photo of Mr. Bezos with the same table.
She wrote in the post: “I took this photo this morning when I walked into where he works. I love that he is still working at one of the first desks that has been around since the beginning ( (see next slide) … This is where countless hours of hard work meet the heart of Day One. It’s the endless pursuit of possibility.”
According to Fox News, Bezos turned doors into tables to save money shortly after founding Amazon.
