Emotions are running high at the Mumbai Indians training camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, with a video featuring bowling coach Lasith Malinga and wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan going viral on social media. In the video, Kishan can be seen donning a colorful wig to replicate Malinga’s famous hairstyle and he even tried to imitate his ‘pitcher’ bowling action. Teammates were left divided after his antics and even Malinga couldn’t help but have some fun with Kishan.

Meanwhile, captain Hardik Pandya expressed his happiness at joining the Mumbai Indians (MI) training camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting on March 22, expressing his gratitude in words of “seeing The “emotions” and “memories” I feel after meeting old friends and reliving my life. The good old days”.

Pandya joined the Mumbai Indians (MI) camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday. The all-rounder will take over the captaincy of Mumbai Indians (MI) from five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy-winning captain Rohit Sharma in the 2024 season.

Hardik took to Instagram to share a video of him meeting some of his colleagues from MI, including bowling coach Lasith Malinga, who was Hardik’s teammate during his playing days at MI.

Hardik also expressed excitement about the future of his franchise and made his intention to “get down to business” clear. He also shared some photos of himself sweating it out online.

“Day one. So many emotions, so many memories. Seeing old friends and reliving the good old days. Excited for the future of this great team. Let’s get down to business @mumbaiindians,” Hardik posted on Instagram the post title said.
