Lapu-Lapu Day Attack is now facing 11 suspected allegations

Police in Vancouver say that suspects are now facing the same allegations in a vehicle-rivalry attack on a Filipino Street Festival on 26 April, as the number of victims is accused of killing them.

For months, 30-year-old Adam Kai-G Low was facing only eight allegations. VPD says that LO is facing 11 allegations till Tuesday morning.

“Additional allegations were approved by the BC Prosecution Service after a review of the evidence submitted by the Vancouver Police Homeside investigators,” police said.

He remains in custody.

In May, a provincial judge ordered a hearing to determine whether the LO is fit for the test.

Lo’s defense team in the light of a mental health evaluation, requested a hearing, and the Crown agreed that the LO is not fit for the test.

The upcoming hearing is expected to begin on Wednesday and the last two days to determine whether he is fit to test.
