Sunrisers Hyderabad set an all-time IPL record of 277 runs in three innings against Mumbai Indians in a power-hitting match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium A 31-run victory was achieved in a game that baffled the bowlers of both sides. Left-hand SRH batsman Abhishek Sharma was also one of the batsmen who performed well on the match day. Abhishek scored 63 runs off 23 balls with the help of 3 fours and 7 sixes. Despite his powerful batting, former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is also Abhishek’s idol and mentor, criticized the way Abhishek was dismissed.

Young left-handed batsman Abhishek says the message from the team management is simple, “Go out and express yourself” as Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Mumbai Indians in the IPL match. Records keep breaking like a game of ninepins.
“To be honest, I didn’t realize it was SRH and the fastest 50 race of the year. I just wanted to express myself and when I got off the car I realized it was the fastest. I’m enjoying it,” Man said. Sharma after the match.
“I think the message to all the batsmen in the meetings we had before this game was very simple. ‘Everybody go express themselves’. If you get that message from the captain and the coach, it’s a very simple one. Positive message. It really supports all the hitters.”
