The National Voters’ Day is celebrated every year on January 25

National Voters’ Day 2024: It is often said that the ballot holds more power than the bullet, and rightly so. The fate of a republic rests in the hands of the voters, and the fundamental rights of Indian voters are outlined in the Constitution.

The Constitution also specifies the responsibilities that voters must consider before and after casting their votes. Voting is not only a civic duty but also a fundamental tool through which our nation has consistently safeguarded our inherent rights throughout its history.

The National Voters’ Day is celebrated every year on January 25 to encourage the voters to participate in the electoral process. This year the Election Commission of India is celebrating the 11th National Voters’ Day. Dedicated to the crores of voters of the country, National Voters’ Day, is utilized to spread awareness among the people about the importance of voting and participating in the electoral process of one of the world’s largest democracies.
