King Charles and Queen Camilla looked in high spirits as they arrived at Windsor Abbey for an Easter service.
The 75-year-old cancer-stricken monarch embraced the festive spirit as he interacted with royal watchers gathered outside St George’s Chapel.
The Princess who accompanied him mirrored her husband’s excitement, wearing an emerald green dress by Anna Valentine and a matching hat by Philip Treacy, paired with a black jacket, black boots and handbag , showing elegance.
She also wore an emerald and diamond brooch as a sweet tribute to her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.
In a video obtained daily mailCharles can be seen being wished a “Happy Easter” by royal fans, to which he happily responded: “And you!”
As King Charles is battling cancer, it is uncertain whether he will attend church services. However, Buckingham Palace confirmed the news earlier this week.
The royal Easter Sunday service will not have the usual crowds, with the monarch seated separately from other family members.
Kate Middleton and Prince William will miss the funeral, flying to Anmer Hall in Norfolk with their children, a day after Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis last week.
