On the death anniversary of Sridevi, her daughter Khushi Kapoor posted an old picture on her Instagram story on Saturday. In the picture, little Khushi can be seen posing with mother Sridevi and sister Janhvi. This click is from Khushi’s childhood days. Sridevi, often referred to as Bollywood’s first female superstar, died in 2018 in Dubai, where she had attended a family wedding. Sridevi worked in 300 films in her career spanning more than 5 decades. His last onscreen appearance was in the 2018 film ZeroStarring Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, in which she had a small role.

On Karan Johar’s chat show coffee with karan 8 Earlier this year, Khushi Kapoor had talked about mother Sridevi’s death and had said, “I think it took me a while to accept it. I think after some time I suddenly realized it . But I was a little confused.” I do not know. But I had Jhanvi and I had my father. So, they were there to help.” Khushi said it took her a while to properly process her mother Sridevi’s death. She added that she felt she needed to be “strong” for the family. Khushi “I guess I felt like I had to keep it together for everyone because I feel like I’ve always been strong,” Kapoor said.
Janhvi and Khushi are the daughters of Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor. Janhvi Kapoor debuted in Bollywood Dhadak in 2018 and since then he has starred in several projects. Khushi started her acting career with Zoya Akhtar’s film ArchiesCo-starring Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan.
