Kelly Pickler made a triumphant return to the stage a year after her husband’s death, when she performed at a tributary in honor of Patsy Cline.

In an ode to the music emperor, on Monday, April 22, Pickler hosted an all-star concert at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline, honoring the late legend.

Addressing the audience, Pickler admitted: “I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m incredibly nervous at the moment. This is the first time I’ve been on stage in so long.”

Praising the late artist, she explained: “I will say that I am incredibly honored to be a part of honoring Ms. Patsy Cline. She is a big reason I fell in love with music.”

However, many other actors lined up to pay tribute to Cline for her honorable service, including Sara Evans, Ashley McBride, Mickey Guyton, Wynonna Judd, Kristin Chenoweth, Rita Wilson, Crystal Gayle, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo .

She dedicated a song to her late husband Kyle Jacobs, remembering writing the song a decade ago with them.

The 37-year-old echoed the frenzy, “I know he’s here with us tonight,” she said.

For those unaware, Jacobs died by suicide in February 2023 at the age of 49.
