Keena: Bridge of Spirits could finally launch on Xbox consoles soon

Keena: Bridge of Spirits, the critically acclaimed action-adventure game that launched exclusively on PC and PlayStation consoles in 2021, appears to be finally coming to Xbox. While there has been no official announcement from developer Ember Lab or Microsoft, the game appears to have received a rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) for the Xbox family of consoles. Kena: Bridge of Spirits originally launched as a limited-time exclusive on the Epic Games Store for PS4, PS5, and PC.

X user Klobrille (@klobrille), who reports on Xbox news, discovered a ESRB list Last week, Kenna: Bridge of Spirits launched on Xbox Series S/X consoles. According to the ESRB website, the game has been rated T for Teen on the Xbox platform. The listing comes with a rating summary detailing some gameplay elements.

The ESRB rating suggests that the action-adventure game may be releasing soon on the Xbox platform. It’s unclear if the game will release on Xbox One, as the rating mentions “Xbox Series” as a supported platform.

Xbox parent company Microsoft and Kena: Bridge of Spirits producer Ember Lab have not yet confirmed that the game will be released on Xbox Series S/X. The game doesn’t have a specific Xbox release date, but the ESRB rating suggests it could be released this year.

“Kina: Bridge of Souls” first launched on PC on September 21, 2021 on PS4, PS5, and Epic Games Store. The game will be released as a limited-time exclusive on PlayStation consoles, with the possibility of being released on other platforms later. On PC, Keena: Bridge of Spirits will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for one year before being released on Steam in September 2022.

The game tells the adventure story of Kenna, a spiritual guide with magical abilities who can help people travel to the spiritual world. Inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda and with an art style reminiscent of Disney and Pixar animated films, Keena: Bridge of Spirits features platforming, puzzles, and challenging combat.
