Former glamor model Katie Price has been declared bankrupt for the second time after unpaid tax exceeded £750,000.

Ms PriceThe court heard on Monday that the company, which declared bankruptcy in 2019, owed HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) £761,994.05.

At a brief hearing at London’s Rolls House, Insolvency and Companies Court judge Sebastian Prentice said Ms Price had failed to respond to HMRC over the debt and declared that she Bankruptcy.

“The debtor has not responded yet. The documents are ready,” he said.

“Ms Price owes a huge debt to HMRC and I will therefore make a bankruptcy order.”

The bench said the bill “emanates from the self-assessment for the years 2020-21 and 2021-22” and includes income tax, VAT, surcharges and interest.

Ms Price did not attend the hearing, days after she was fined £880 for driving without a license or insurance in Northamptonshire last August.

In February, another judge also ordered her to pay 40% of the income from adult entertainment website OnlyFans to trustees over the next three years in a separate dispute over unpaid debts, and the hearing was told she would face questions about her Questions about finances in April.

She said last October she was “tired” of being threatened with legal action and was willing to go to prison “to end it all”.

Ms Price discussed her bankruptcy in an interview with TV personality Michelle Visage on her podcast, saying she had recently been to court “more times than I’ve had a hot dinner” ” and “really” don’t care if he gets jail time.

In March 2023, she told Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5 show that people should not be “ashamed” of being declared bankrupt and that she had struggled with her mental health in recent years .

She also apologized to the court at a hearing in October 2020, saying: “I just couldn’t process the issues and be in the right mental state to understand what was going on.”
