Katie Piper returns to ITV Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show.

The presenter is famous for a tragic incident that took place in 2008 that had a major impact on her life.

Piper, 24, began her modeling career and began living with friends. In March 2008, the former model was attacked by her ex-boyfriends Daniel Lynch and Stefan Sylvester.

The attack left her in a coma for twelve days while she underwent skin graft surgery. She suffered severe facial injuries and lost sight in one eye.

Her attacker was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Sylvester was released in 2018 after serving eight years in prison.

Katie has been undergoing surgeries for sixteen years since the accident in an effort to restore her face and vision.

She also opened up about being sexually assaulted by her ex-boyfriend in 2009, raising awareness for burn victims.
