Jonathan Price says Kate conspiracy theories can’t be blamed on the royal family

Sir Jonathan Pryce says Netflix drama The Crown is not to blame for recent conspiracy theories surrounding the Princess of Wales.

The actor, who plays Prince Philip in the royal drama, appeared on Andrew Marr’s LBC show on Wednesday (March 27) and was asked if the show “distorts people’s perceptions of the monarchy and contributes to Conspiracy theory.”

Sir Jonathan said: “It just raises the profile of the royal family. It makes them a family who are completely sympathetic to the issues we face.”
