President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee have confirmed they raised more than $90 million in March and ended the first quarter of the year with more than $192 million in cash on hand.

They reportedly further extend their money advantage over Donald Trump and the Republican Party Associated Press.

From January to March, the Biden campaign and its affiliated entities confirmed raising $187 million and said 96% of all donations were less than $200.

Trump, on the other hand, is expected to raise $43 million for his campaign as major donors gather at the Florida home of billionaire investor John Paulson on Saturday. Additionally, it will likely set a single-game fundraising record.

Ahead of the November election, Biden’s campaign said the pace of donations will allow it to launch large digital and television ad campaigns in key states and work with the Democratic National Committee and state parties to better mobilize potential supporters.

Since Biden announced he was seeking re-election in April 2023, about 1.6 million people have donated to the campaign.

The campaign raised more than $10 million in 24 hours after the president delivered his State of the Union address in early March.
