Jobs will be ensured at the door of terrorist victim families in Kashmir: LG Sinha

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the ‘2025’ exhibition and public outreach initiative ‘Bharat Sanrachana J&K 2025’ in Srinagar today.

In his address, the Lieutenant Governor issued a strict warning for divisive elements in the society, which endanger peace and harmony to prevent fake and dangerous narratives from spreading.

“Some people are making irresponsible statements by saying that guests are spoiling the culture of Jammu and Kashmir. They are saying that there is a demographic attack and alcohol is spreading. This terrorist organization is a similar story as TRF. I appeal to make such a statement to stop such a statement.

The Lieutenant Governor reiterated his resolve to ensure justice for the terrorist victim families and warned that those responsible for their sufferings would be held accountable.

“We are providing justice and distributing justice to the actual terror victims of the Kashmir Valley.

The Lieutenant Governor shared the remarkable development story of the country and the Union region of Jammu and Kashmir over the years.

“Since 2014, our great nation is moving towards becoming a global superpower with a rapid new resolution, new thinking and a new roadmap.

Within 6 years, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has written a new history of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the new Jammu -Kashmir where children have pens in their hands and not stones, schools and colleges are open throughout the year, where calendars of international programs are published instead of bandages and attacks.

This is a new Jammu -Kashmir where our youth are achieving new heights in innovation and research. It is a new Jammu -Kashmir where our youth is now focusing on startups and starting its own business undertaking. Now in the new J&K, instead of slogans of separatism, the noise of laughter of factories, tourists and people is being heard, ”said the Lieutenant Governor.

The Lieutenant Governor highlighted that in the last 5-6 years, the economy of Jammu and Kashmir has doubled. J&K’s UT has become a favorite investment designation and more BPOs are also coming to UT. He said that J&K Bank, which was earlier in a loss of Rs 1300 crore, is now at a profit of Rs 1700 crore.

The Governor of Lieutenant said, “J&Cs are writing stories of their golden age, which are ensuring equal opportunities for the aspirations of the deprived classes, farmers, women and youth. What was impossible earlier in J&K is made possible.”

The Lieutenant Governor said that the next 22 years can prove to be a golden year for Jammu and Kashmir in the journey of Amrit period, provided that we give the new generation an opportunity to play a big role in this development journey of the nation.

“Under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, central schemes and innovation will shape the dream of our youth in reality. I am waiting for the day when the youth of J&K will join the area, become an astronaut to find out the new front of space,” said the Lieutenant Governor.

In his address, the Lieutenant Governor appreciated the ‘Bharat Sanrachana J&K 2025’ initiative with the aim of creating awareness about innovation and technology -operated development in government schemes, welfare programs and technology in many fields.

He said that the two -day mega exhibition will educate and engage the youth, students, farmers, entrepreneurs and every section of the society with real -time risk of government services and will build a bridge between the government and the people.

The Lieutenant Governor noticed that the presence of the Ministry of Mines, the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Defense, MSME, Ministry of Space, Bureau of Indian Standards, Bureau of Indian Standards, Bureau of Indian Standards, Indian Council of Medical Research, Ministry of Tourism and India in today’s exhibition is an important step towards inclusive development.

He stressed that schools and colleges should visit a large number of exhibitions to inspire youth and encourage their contribution to the development journey of Jammu and Kashmir.

The 3-day long program will include interactive exhibitions from central ministries, PSUs, institutions and national boards; Live performance and hand experience for students and visitors; Workshops, seminars and expert talks on subjects such as innovation, stability and government support; Skills sector, career guidance session, and youth empowerment modules and stories of local success and integration of local artisans and entrepreneurs.

Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha; Mr. Akshay Labar, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar; Mr. Tarun Jain, Director, Tamah events; Officers of central government departments and UT administration were present in large numbers.
