Before the commencement of Haj -25, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today visited Haj House Bemina to first handy the arrangements and basic facilities set by various departments.
Interested pilgrims will start leaving for pilgrimage from Sunday, May 04, 2025.
During the journey, Divcom was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Bilal Mohi Ud Deen Bhat. Other officers present during the visit were Director, Airport Authority, Srinagar International Airport, Regional Director of BCA, Representative of Health, PHE, KPDCL, Information, Haj Committee, SMC, JK Police, Customs, Migration, SpiceJet and various banks.
On the occasion, Divcom conducted a comprehensive inspection of services and infrastructure, which includes forex counters installed by banks, luggage screening machines, e-breclet counters and boarding facilities.
The Div Com also reviewed the availability of lodging room hygiene and availability of basic facilities, such as water and uninterrupted power supply.
On this occasion, HAJJ Committee officials informed DIVcom on comprehensive measures to ensure widespread arrangements for security, traffic management, hygiene and other essential services.
Speaking on the occasion, Divcom emphasized the importance of giving careful services to pilgrims during his time and during his departure. He called for coordinated efforts to provide the best possible experience for Huz, ensuring their comfort and safety during the holy journey.
