The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on Sunday canceled the OMR based examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical), which was held today.
According to the order issued here, the OMR -based written examination for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical, Power Development Department was conducted at 35 examination places in Srinagar districts of Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir at Srinagar districts of Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir on 24.08.2025.
However, the board said that due to the weather -related boycott, the exam time was resolved from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
“The exam was successfully conducted at 34 places, but could not be held at one place,” it reads.
JKSSB said, “In view of the above, the board has been conducted by the Board on 24.08.2025 by the Board to cancel the OMR based examination for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical), Power Development Department and will be operated.”
It was also said that the latest dates will be notified separately for the conduct of the said examination.
Certainly, a video allegedly showed the question paper of JE Electrical Post, leaking on social media before the result of exams, which start protests in one of the examination centers.
