JKPCC chief accused BJP ‘

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hamid Karra on Sunday accused the BJP of politicizing Operation Sindoor through a tricolor rally.

He said, “The images of the armed forces are minimal, while BJP is dominating oversized paintings of leaders. It clearly reflects the BJP’s intention to politicize a national military achievement,” he said.

Karr further announced that the Congress party will organize its program in honor of the armed forces from 20 May to 30 May.

He said, “We will not take the name of our program after Operation Sindoor. Our aim is to respect the armed forces, not to politicize their sacrifices,” he said.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated and led the ‘Tiranga Yatra’.

In a post on X, Shah wrote, “The brave soldiers of the country have made Operation Sindoor synonymous with their bravery with the abolition of terrorism. Live from the tricolor journey held in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha in honor of the soldiers on the historical success of this operation …”

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) started the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ on 13 May and it will continue till 23 May. The purpose of the yatra is to respect the valor of Indian soldiers and inform citizens about the success of Operation Sindhor.

The campaign shut down a symbolic march in Delhi on 13 May with the characteristic of a 108-foot tall national flag.

Senior leaders including Sambbit Patra, Vinod Tawde and Tarun Chugh were tasked to coordinate the campaign in the areas.

The party will organize a press conference across the country and attach to social media affected to increase the message of the campaign digitally and reach the young audience.

Operation Sindoor was launched on 7 May on 22 April in response to a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 citizens lost their lives.

In a fast and decisive vengeance, Indian forces abolished more than 100 terrorists across the border in Pakistan.

Although Pakistan launched a counter -attack, India responded to the force, causing a ceasefire and re -established its defense currency.

Through the Tiranga Yatra, the BJP aims to strongly remind the citizens of India against terrorism and promote the deep sense of nationalism and unity across the country. (AI)
