Jammu -Srinagar National Highway (NH -44), ongoing pilgrimage movements, and challenging road conditions, Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police Headquarters has issued a comprehensive traffic advice for passengers and transporters.

Cut-off timing for LMVS (29 July):

Nagrota (Jammu) to Srinagar: 0600 am to 1200 pm

Jakheni (Udhampur) to Srinagar: 0700 am to 1300 pm

Jammu to Kajigund: 1130 am to 1400 pm

No vehicle will be allowed before or after the cut-off time.

HMV movement advisor

Under the conditions, HMV from Kajigund towards Jammu will be allowed after road evaluation, with no HMV movement permission after 1900. Additionally, tanker trucks and empty vehicles up to 10 tires will have to return to Jammu via Mughal Road as per the instructions of the UT administration related to Sanji 2025.

Other routes updates:

Institute-Sythan-Antonag Road (NH-244): Opened to LMVS/HPSVs from both sides, over a restricted time. No HMV will be allowed except the designated HPSV.

SSG Road (Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari): In the time slots specified by HMVS after the regulated movement for LMVS. Strict adherence is necessary for cut-off timing.

Mughal Road: Opened in both ways for LMVS, while HMVS (up to 10 tires) allows Poonach to Poonach between 0700 pm and 1800 pm.
