Recently, cement manufacturer JK Cement presented generous gifts to top-performing dealers. JK Cement has rewarded the top 65 dealers across the country by giving away Mahindra XUV and Scorpio.
The company awards cars in appreciation for their outstanding performance and contribution to the company’s development.
JK Cement’s generosity reflects its core principle of building strong and rewarding partnerships with its dealer network.
In 2018, billionaire diamond businessman Savji Dholakia of Surat, Gujarat distributed 600 cars to his company’s employees. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed out the keys to a brand new car to four employees, including a disabled woman, at a lavish event organized by the billionaire.
Posting a photo with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Facebook, the diamantaire said “around 1,700 diamond artists and engineers have been given these cars ‘as part of our employee loyalty bonus scheme’.”
In 2016, Mr Dholakia gifted 400 flats and 1,260 cars to employees as Diwali bonuses; in 2015, 491 cars and 200 flats were reportedly given as gifts. He skipped that tradition last year.
According to reports, the diamond businessman hails from Amreli in Saurashtra district of the state and started his business with a small loan from his uncle.
Meanwhile, Surat-based Alliance Group gifted electric scooters to its employees in 2021.
