Under the new proposed rules, loudspeakers cannot play for more than 12 seconds when come to the chime, and will be banned between 12PM to 7pm.

A report presented to the councilors has read: “Enforcement and licensing of ice cream traders has been a challenging, which attempts to indicate places in such rural areas.

“This more flexible approach will allow trading on all areas approved by the appropriate Parish or Town Council, and the 15 -minute trading will allow the trading border to be the appropriate part of the customers for businesses as the visit to places can be kept throughout the day.

“In addition, it will provide more options for consumers and residents and avoid the need to ban trade in some villages or wards/parganas, so support our major objective of supporting local business.”

He said that any businessman working without the consent of Parish or Town Council may have canceled his consent.
