Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11: Raveena Tandon praises Anjali Anand, remembers working with her father

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has been continuously making headlines for the brilliant and extraordinary performances of 11 celebrities. The latest episode of the dance reality show was dedicated to iconic actress Raveena Tandon. In a nostalgic tribute, the contestants took to the stage and brought back memories of the 90s by performing some of Raveena’s iconic songs. Raveena took the entertainment levels to new heights as she not only enthralled the audience with her presence but also shared interesting details about her collaboration with contestant Anjali Anand’s father, Dinesh Anand. The actress also shared about her films and revealed interesting details.

Anjali Anand enthralled the audience with her classical dance performance along with choreographer Tarun Raj Nihalani in the song Nain Se Naino Ko Mila. Raveena Tandon praised Anjali, revealing a surprising connection, saying, “I have worked a lot with Anjali’s father. We have done about 5-6 films together and she might have been very young then, but I think he would be very proud now.

The actress further added, “I can see that you are your father’s daughter just like me, so I can completely understand this feeling. And I assure you, He is watching you and encouraging you every step of the way. And whatever success we have today, believe us, they are our guardian angels, who are guiding us at every step. Keep working hard like this. We are all proud of you.”

Anjali Anand pleasantly surprised everyone by revealing that she and Raveena Tandon studied in the same college. He told how Raveena’s influence is still felt in his college hall. Anjali surprised Raveena and the judges on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and brought back some of the famous vada pav from her college days.

Raveena Tandon also shared a happy moment on the show when she danced with Manisha Rani on her hit song Tip Tip Barsa Paani. The joyous experience continued when Sriram Chandra SRC presented Raveena with roses.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 started with 12 contestants and till now five contestants including Aamir Ali, Urvashi Dholakia, Rajiv Thakur, Vivek Dahiya, Nikhita Gandhi and Tanisha Mukherjee have left the show. The judging panel includes eminent personalities Farah Khan, Malaika Arora and Arshad Warsi, while the hosting duties are handled by Ritwik Dhanjani and Gauhar Khan. The show airs every weekend at 9:30 pm
