BLACKPINK Jennie’s company recently confirmed that the K-pop star is not planning to make a solo comeback just yet.
Representatives for ODD Atelier issued a press statement on Sunday, March 31, acknowledging that there are currently no confirmed plans to release a solo album in June.
However, they did reveal that the singer has a “new song” coming soon.
“We plan to work on a new song. However, no release date has been discussed or if it will be a single or EP,” the statement read.
The media has previously speculated that Jennie will release a solo album in June.
Reports suggest that the BLACKPINK member is working on her album, focusing on her planned solo activities upon release.
However, Jennie revealed that she plans to release a full solo album at the end of this year.
