Janhvi Kapoor recalls acting school days in LA: 'I didn't learn anything there'

In a recent interview, Janhvi Kapoor spoke openly about her Los Angeles days. Week, “Can I be honest? I didn’t learn anything there,” said Janhvi, who studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in Los Angeles. She further added, “I am often told that I am too honest for Bollywood and it has burnt me out. But at least I sleep well at night. The thrill of moving to California was in the anonymity it gave me . I was nobody’s daughter once, and that was very refreshing. But the format of the school was tied to Hollywood and its casting agents.”

During the interview, Janhvi Kapoor said, “I really realized that I am not a method actor. Secondly, I wish I had spent more time with my people and in my own language. I am telling stories from India And I need to connect with Indians.” Being in LA and going to Malibu on the weekends really made me feel more isolated.”

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of late superstar Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor, is known for acting in films like Roohi, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Ghost Stories And Goodluck Jerry among others. Janhvi made her big debut in Bollywood Dhadakco-starring Ishaan Khatter.

Talking about work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Bawaal, co-starring Varun Dhawan. His upcoming projects include friendly 2 And Mr and Mrs Mahi, She will also be seen in Animal With Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. She will also act in Shashank Khaitan’s film Tulsi Kumari of Sunny SanskritiCo-star Varun Dhawan.
