Srinagar, Oct 25 (IANS) Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam arrived in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar city on Saturday for an October 26 concert on the banks of Dal Lake.
The concert to be held tomorrow at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center (SKICC) on the banks of Dal Lake will be a tribute to the legendary singer late Mohammed Rafi.
This is going to be the first major concert in Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 by Pakistan-backed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists.
Organized by NDTV Good Times, this musical program will blend modern energy with the evergreen tunes of Mohammed Rafi in the voice of Sonu Nigam.
The concert will be open to people of all ages, tickets will be available on the official website www.district.in/events/sonu-nigam-live-tribute-to-mohammed-rafi-2025-buy-tickets.

The concert is scheduled to last approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Srinagar-based Qazi Tauqeer, who won the reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005, will be the opening act at the Sonu Nigam Live on Dal Lake concert.
Limited free parking will be available at the venue and visitors are advised to arrive early to avoid crowds.
There is no dress code, and the venue is wheelchair accessible, ensuring an inclusive and comfortable experience for all attendees.
A variety of food, beverages and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue. Once exited, re-entry will not be permitted, so guests should plan their activities accordingly.
