Travel app Ixigo has set social media abuzz by teasing its new drone selfie stick called Flyfie.this trailer has revealed what appears to be a mini drone that connects to a smartphone and magically transforms into a flying selfie stick, promising to capture every traveler’s moment from the sky. Dubbed “Flyfie” by @abhibus and ixigo, the concept encourages hands-free aerial selfies and vlogging. One enthusiastic user even exclaimed: “Throw away your selfie stick. Ixigo’s Flyfie is sure to be any travel vlogger’s best friend, but the problem is you can’t buy it. Why? Well, this is just a fun prank before April 1st or April Fools’ Day, so don’t be fooled.

Tech companies have a tradition of playing pranks on consumers every April 1, and Ixigo is no exception. Despite the absurdity of the concept—evident in the unrealistic design and impractical functionality—some X users fell for the trick, eagerly asking for purchase links.
