Srinagar, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday wished Jagdeep Dhikar, who resigned as Vice President on Monday, good health and hoping that he would do justice to his successor office.
“First of all, I hope for their better health and pray to keep the former vice -president well and give them a long life. I think this is the first time that perhaps a vice -president of the country has resigned in this way.
Abdullah told Safapora reporters in Genderbal district, “Obviously, his health did not allow him to work further. We hope that the next Vice President would do justice in a real sense to the chair and office.”
The Chief Minister visited Safapora to express his condolences to an attack and murder family.
In support of the Congress party in support of the demand for the restoration of the state to JK, the Chief Minister said that the party did not consult its National Conference (NC).
“Let them talk to us first. We came to know about them through newspapers, no one talked to us. There was a meeting of India block a few days ago and he mentioned it when we do when we take a backseat when we took it to our shoulders?”
In a sarcastic excavation, Abdullah said that it is a good thing that the Congress party remembered to protest after so long.
“If they wanted our support in this, they should talk to us, our colleagues will also participate in it,” he said.
Abdullah said that the government would provide all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
“The police have taken action, a case has been registered and God has been prepared, will be taken to conclusion. The family will be promised and also needs to support them.
He said, “His elder son cannot run due to spinal injury, he has sought some help from the government and we will make a case and whatever is possible,” he said.
