Israel asks US for weapons as stockpile only lasts ’19 weeks of fighting’ against Hamas

The Biden administration is reportedly preparing to send bombs and other weapons to Israel while pushing for a ceasefire in Gaza. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem drafted an arms transfer assessment report at Tel Aviv’s request, the Wall Street Journal reported. The Israeli government requested “the expeditious procurement of these items to defend Israel against ongoing and emerging regional threats.”
