To form a government, a party must win 133 of the 265 contested seats in the 266-member National Assembly.

Meanwhile, a rift has emerged between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawyers and the political leadership, with the latter wanting to negotiate with other parties to reach a political settlement and the former not wanting to do so, Geo News reported.
