ISIS claims responsibility for Moscow attack, but Putin blames Ukraine

The Islamic State terror group has released a photo and body camera footage of an alleged March 23 attack on Moscow’s Krokus city hall, shopping mall and music venue. The Islamic State in Khorasan (ISIS-K) claimed responsibility for the attack, which killed 133 people. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Ukraine was behind the deadly attack.

In an address to the nation about the attack, Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed to “justly and unavoidably punish” the perpetrators, organizers and those who ordered the massacre.

The March 23 shooting was said to be Russia’s deadliest attack in 20 years.
