Is this the real reason they tore down the East Wing of the White House?

So I grew up in the Washington, DC area, so I always knew the history of why the East Wing of the White House was built, which made me wonder why was it torn down? And especially, why now?

So if you want to hear my working theory slash this is literally turning into a Jason Bourne movie before our eyes, um, get some coffee and come back.

So, guys, I won’t lead on this. This is not a typical White House renovation. This particular demolition is completely blacked out.

So in 1942, like, during World War II, right? FDR didn’t just want more space for his staff. They built the East Wing as cover, and for almost 100 years, what has sat under the East Wing of the White House is the PEOC, which is the Presidential Emergency Operations Command Center, a secret bomb-proof bunker right beneath the White House, connected by underground tunnels, yes, it’s true, with the Treasury Department, the West Wing, and several other areas.

Fast forward 8 decades and there you have it. So this is satellite imagery of where the East Wing used to be. As you can see, it has not only been untouched, but completely demolished.

Now, you have to remember that, for security reasons, the airspace around the White House, known as P-56A, is one of the most restricted airspace in the world. It is inside the larger DC Special Flight Rules Area, which is a completely no-fly zone.

No drones, no civilian helicopters, nothing below 18,000 feet unless it’s federal or military. And the President, he has complete control over every aircraft approved to fly in that area.

Then comes the gag order. On October 20, they sent a notice to the Treasury Department, which is the building, if you look right here, it’s directly to the right of the East Wing if you’re looking where the East Wing used to be. It originally overlooked the East Wing of the White House.

So the Trump team sent a memo to Treasury Department employees saying, “Do not share photos of the White House, East Wing demolition, or construction activities at all.” It is not allowed to do this.

No explanation, just silence. And if that’s not enough to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, worry about the fact that on October 23rd, the Secret Service came and closed down Ellipse Park, which you’ll see right here where basically you have reporters set up there and they take pictures of whatever’s going on in the White House.

That’s no longer the case, as the Secret Service has closed the park. Folks, we have no air access, no line-of-sight access, no press access, and you also have to remember that there are federal regulations about how tall buildings can be in DC.

That’s why there is no rooftop in the city from where you can peek and see what is going on in the White House. This is not going to happen there. So it’s a complete blackout, except on satellite imagery, as you can see, we’re told that the East Wing of the White House has now completely disappeared.

So the White House originally announced these plans in July for this 90,000-square-foot ballroom to seat 999 people, which is twice the size of the actual White House. But no construction equipment showed up until late October, coincidentally during the government shutdown, which is perfect timing, because when the government shuts down, watchdogs go into the dark.

No National Capital Planning Commission, no historic preservation review, no Section 106 consultation. And bonus round, since this project is being privately funded, Musk, Bezos, the crypto billionaire, probably likes the thing he just forgave yesterday.

Fun fact, it is protected from FOIA requests, Freedom of Information Act. Because it is being built on a federal basis, we would have the right to make a FOIA request, but we can’t because these are private donors.

So whatever they tell us, where the money is coming from, we just have to listen to them. Now, I want you guys to peel back the outer layer of the onion and remind yourselves that this means that an unknown group of people are paying to build infrastructure that will remain under the White House indefinitely.

And how about those Starlink dishes? Those of Musk which were established in March. Until then, the White House relied on encrypted fiber optic legacy satellite uplinks, all through government networks.

But of course, the Starlink satellites change that game. Now, communications at the White House can reach directly to low-orbit satellites, bypassing traditional infrastructure. This means faster, harder to track and less dependent federal telecommunications channels.

And if those vessels are now tied into whatever is being built underground, it’s an entirely new comms network, private, independent and off-grid. What they’re building is effectively a giant Faraday cage for protection. You know, a Faraday cage protects you from all types of electronic attacks.

Below the east wing, there is what was originally a signal-proof shell. And friends, this is not for parties. It is for the continuity of government when everything else goes dark.

Yes, presidents have been restricted to the PEOC in the past during events like 9/11. And that PEOC, again, is connected to the extensive underground tunnels beneath DC, connecting everything to the West Wing, the Treasury, and some even the Capitol’s underground tram.

So the plan is to end this whole thing before this President’s term is up, and we can all see what they’re doing with regard to election rigging. So my question is, um, what’s to stop them from being there?

Because you will now have a strong East Wing in the form of a subterranean command hub connected to private satellites, safe from surveillance, built on donor dollars, and free from surveillance, and that is where the real power can reside forever.
