Ellie Goulding has released a new song following her split from Caspar Jopling, writing about her relationship with Caspar Jopling on her upcoming album Marriage of Caspar Jopling.

Ellie, 37, and Casper, 32, announced their separation in February. At the time, the former couple verified the information they distributed to their respective Instagram followers in separate social media posts.

Now the singer-songwriter is said to have “poured her heartache” into a new record. Ellie performed a new piece of music at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, with support from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ellie made her stage debut at the event earlier this week, according to reports sun, on song loving me is easy, she “opened up about the breakup.” A video of a performance of the unreleased song subsequently circulated on social media, with Casper rumored to be in attendance.

She was heard on stage singing: “Every mistake I make is my last, but you still fight for us. I know it’s not easy to love me, but if you want me, I’m yours. Me Know that love doesn’t come easy to me, but I am completely yours and I try to absorb all the water you have to wade through to reach me.”

According to a video of the performance, the Brit Award winner appeared and sang the song: “Maybe I’m too much for you. All the questions hurt my head. Finally found some truth I might have lost Something, but you know I’ll be there.”

According to the site, the artist proposed that she co-write the song with Jack Rochon, who was recognized for his contributions to Beyoncé’s latest album, Cowboy Carter.

“This is what I do – I write from the heart about how I feel and then think about the consequences,” Ellie reportedly said.

Further stating, she admitted during her performance that the song was written for her sixth studio album.

Ellie shared: “I’m writing a new album [that I hope will be out this year]. I’ve been working on it and it sounds good. “

Just a few weeks ago, Ellie and her spouse Casper made their split public on social media. The couple, who had a two-year-old son named Arthur, were rumored to have split before announcing the news in February.
