The Indian Embassy in the UAE on Friday advised incoming Indian passengers traveling to or via Dubai International Airport to reschedule non-essential travel until flight operations return to normal after Dubai was hit by unprecedented rainfall this week.

The embassy said in the advisory that while the UAE authorities are working around the clock to ensure normalization of operations, airport authorities advise passengers to travel to the airport “only after” the respective airlines have finalized the flight departure date and time. flight.

The advisory stated that Dubai International Airport has temporarily restricted the number of inbound flights due to disruptions caused by unprecedented weather conditions in the UAE earlier this week.

“Inbound passengers from India traveling to or via Dubai International Airport are advised to reschedule non-essential travel until operations normalize,” the statement said.
