India chose dialogue, Pakistan replied with terrorist attacks: Srikanth Shinde in UAE

Shiv Sena MP Srikanth Eknath Shinde, who is leading a high-level all-party Indian delegation in the UAE, gave a strong message about India’s firm stance against terrorism.

Shinde insisted that while India has always started talks, including gestures such as the Lahore declaration and the visit of the Prime Minister in Pakistan, the response has often come as terrorist attacks.

Addressing a press conference, Shinde said, “India is a nation that has started repeated dialogue. There are many examples where our Prime Ministers visited Pakistan … After the announcement of Lahore, after the announcement of Lahore, there is a Kargil war. Every time we start a discussion, we start a dialogue, but I feel that I think it is very important to understand that in the territory of India, I think it is very important in the territory, In the subcontinent, India is only a nation which is moving forward.

He highlighted India’s growing global profile, given that it is the fifth largest economy in the world and will soon become third after the United States and China. He urged the international community to stand with India in his policy of zero tolerance for terrorism.

He said, “We are the fifth largest economy. We will be the third largest economy very soon after America and China … We always respond with restraint. Every time there is a terrorist attack, we start a dialogue. This time, the ceasefire was not at the request of Pakistan. It was not completely around the world. The world, other nations, should stand firmly with India …”

Earlier, a delegation led by Srikanth Eknath Shinde participated in an interaction with the Indian community in the United Arab Emirates, where members shared ‘New India’ and ‘New Normal’, which emerged after the Drunk Pahgam terror attack and later started by Operation Sindhore.

During the interaction event, BJD MP Samsmat Patra shared that Operation Sindoor highlighted India’s response to terrorism. He said, “We will ensure that more than 100 terrorists die for what you are doing. This is a new India.”

Earlier in the day, the delegation met the Minister of Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak al-Nahyan, tolerance and co-existence. Al Nahyan expressed his deep condolences to the initiative terrorist attack.

The delegation highlighted cross-border terrorism and Pakistan’s efforts to create social disagreement in India.

The all-party delegation projected India’s national consent and a firm approach to combat terrorism in all its forms and expressions. This will tell the world a strong message of zero tolerance for terrorism.

India launched Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. India launched accurate attacks on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK). Indian armed forces later effectively responded to Pakistani aggression and increased its airbase.

The two countries have reached an understanding to prevent military action by Pakistan’s DGMO for their Indian counterpart. (AI)
