A doctor was fatally attacked inside a hospital in Maharashtra on Friday night. In the horrific incident captured in the CCTV camera, the attacker is seen attacking the doctor about 18 times with a sickle. The victim has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

The doctor was talking on his phone and seemed oblivious to the man standing next to him. The video shows the man continuing to attack the doctor’s face and neck even after he stopped moving.

According to the report of Press Trust of India, Dr. Kailash Rathi (48), director of a hospital in Panchavati area of ​​Nashik, was attacked on Friday night.

“The husband of one of the victim’s former employees has been arrested for the attack. The woman was accused of embezzling Rs 6 lakh while she was working at the hospital. She was dismissed but later reinstated However, he took another Rs 12 lakh from him and refused to pay it back,” PTI quoted a police officer as saying.

Based on the complaint of the doctor’s wife, a case has been registered against the former employee and her husband.
