IGP Jammu Flags Off Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra-2025 to Kashmir

Amidst tight security arrangements, chanting religious hymns and slogans by religious frightening and devotees, annual Mata Kheer Bhavani Yatra today left Kashmir in the presence of IGP Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar Vyas and Relief and Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M), Jammu -Kon

Several other senior police and civil officers, including Dig Jacks-ranges, Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, director Ulb, Manisha Sarin, Director Tourism Jammu, Vikas Gupta, Adam Jammu, Rakesh Kumar, SP Rural Jammu, Brijam Kumar Sharma, Shi-Shilif, Shi-Shailif, Sh-Rilif, Sh-Rilif, Shi-Rilif, SDPO Nagrota, SDPO Nagrota, SDPO Nagrota and Tehsilders/ Camp Commandant/ Zonal Officers of Relief Organizations were also present.

The Relief Organization had arranged buses through JKRTC, which to participate in the Mata Kheer Bhavani Mela held every year on the auspicious occasion of Jayashta Ashtami to take around 2500 Yatris, which is falling on June 3 this year.

Thham Kheer is accompanied by Banger Banger Banger Basenanese A Tradella (Gandardal), Tikkar (Cup Fathari), Devanshhar and Lohgaripur (Unts) or Logripospore (Anatagal).

The main congregation is being held in Tulamullah (Gandalball). District administration Ramban organized a brief stop for Yatris in Chandrakot before traveling to Tulmullah and other destinations.

The essential arrangement of housing, anchor facility, essential services has been made by the concerned district administration in collaboration with the relief organization for the convenience of pilgrims. The journey will return on June 4, 2025.
