Hyundai launches fast charging stations for electric vehicles across India to make electric travel easier

The company currently has a total of 11 ultra-fast charging stations, each equipped with three charging points, designed to drive adoption of electric vehicles and ease range anxiety for city and highway journeys.

These charging stations are strategically located in cities such as Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru, as well as along major highways such as Delhi-Chandigarh and Mumbai-Surat. They offer a 24/7 service to owners of modern and non-modern electric vehicles, with additional facilities such as a café nearby.

Hyundai’s ultra-fast chargers offer a fast charging experience, especially for models like the Hyundai IONIQ 5, which can charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes. Recharge rates are affordable starting from INR 18 per unit and are conveniently accessible through Hyundai’s myHyundai app.

This move signals Hyundai’s continued commitment to supporting the adoption of electric vehicles in India and is in line with the government’s vision for a cleaner, greener transportation future.
