Hurreet irrelevant, who tried to defeat India 'badly failed', who failed badly; Time to accept reality: Bilal Ghani Lone

Former separatist leader Bilal Ghani Lone has convicted the Hurrit conference for his own irrelevances, called the separatist group “non-functional”, and criticized Pakistan for making “mess” in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said, “The Hurrit is not very relevant as per the date. Hurrit is not even functional (Hurriyot is also functional),” He told PTI video, “Let’s be honest about it … When you talk about Hurrite, it is not present anywhere in Kashmir.”

Accepting that people once reiterated their faith in Hurrit, he said that the current reality was different. Lone said, “The Hurrite Conference has lost relevance because we could not work.” He said, “So Hurrit’s concept must have been good at that time … but when we imagine Hurrite today, it is non-functional and somewhere, Hurite has faltered, there is no doubt about this,” he said.

The loan was equally important for Pakistan’s participation. He said, “We have heard many statements, but nothing has come out (its),” he said, “Pakistan should help Kashmir in soothing things here, instead of being out of here.” He rejected the idea that Pakistan could take Kashmir with force, called it a “very silly suggestion”. Referring to Seema recently, he said, “Not even an inch went to the border.”

For a change in the approach, Lone said, “We need to come out of this mess, whether it is with Pakistan or without it, we have to come out of it.”

Expressing regret over the failures of the separatist movement, he said, “The Hurite Conference had a lot of opportunities, we stumbled somewhere. And we could get something for our people, but we could not. It’s reality, let’s be honest about it.”

Lone said that his decision to join mainstream politics was not from ambition, but was inspired by a personal punishment to participate in a “real political process”. While reflecting his own journey, he said, “I have no regrets when being on the other side of the fence, but the only regrets, which is a very big, is that we could not do anything. A lot could have been done, but we couldn’t,” adding, “adding,” Dare Ai Duest Ai (ever better than Aye Duest Ai). He said that he is not in the race for any post like Chief Minister or MLA. “I think I need to pay it back. So for me, it’s a peback time,” Lone said.

He insisted that his new political story would go beyond the infrastructure and focus on the youth. “We have to talk about their future, including their education, health facilities and possibilities to establish business,” he said.

According to the loan, the next generation has been the biggest casualties of conflict. He said, “Violence has not given us anything. Violence has brought Yana Par Barabadi Hi Lai (violence only brought here),” he said, saying, saying that it is “finished generations”.

He warned that those who tried to defeat India “remained badly failed” and said that people should now accept that reality.
