The Honor Pad 9 made its global debut alongside the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 at the 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February. Now, the tablet is coming to India. The official online listing of the upcoming model reveals key details including design and specifications. The Indian variant of the Honor Pad 9 is likely to be similar to its global counterpart. HTech is yet to confirm the launch date of the tablet in the country.

Amazon microsite The Honor Pad 9 has gone live in India, confirming that the device will be launched soon and will be available on Amazon. CP Khandelwal (@cp_khandelwal), joint managing director of HTech, also previewed the upcoming tablet at a press conference. postal X (formerly Twitter) and added that it will come with a free Bluetooth keyboard.

The Honor Pad 9 microsite reveals several key features of the Indian version of the tablet. Most details are similar to its global counterparts, including the design. The Pad 9 features a large flat display with the front-facing camera in the center of the bezel. The rear camera module is also located in the center of the rear panel to provide a symmetrical look.

The Honor Pad 9 will feature a 12.1-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The company also confirmed that similar to the global version, the Indian version will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. It will come with 8GB RAM, along with an additional 8GB vRAM and 256GB onboard storage. The tablet will run on MagicOS 7.2 and come with an 8,300mAh battery.

The Honor Pad 9 is said to be ultra-thin and has a metallic texture. The tablet is 6.96 mm thick and weighs 555 grams. It is also confirmed to be launched in India in Space color. The tablet is also confirmed to feature eight speakers with two-way voice enhancement technology and background noise cancellation.
