The Israeli military told AFP on Thursday that its planes struck a “Hezbollah commander” in southern Lebanon, claiming he was involved in cross-border rocket attacks.
Lebanese security sources said earlier that an officer of an Iran-backed group was “seriously injured” in an Israeli airstrike on a car in the city of Nabatiyah.
