Newly released video shows Florida man David Contreras using his home’s doorbell camera to admit to his wife that he tragically shot their son during a heated argument. Contreras, 52, was reportedly caught on camera admitting to fatally shooting his 22-year-old son Eric at their Miami residence last November.
“He’s not breathing. He’s dead,” Contreras told his wife shortly after the Nov. 3 shooting. new york post the report said.
“The fighting on the way home was unbearable.”

At one point in the video, Contreras is seen in agony, crouching on the ground and covering his face with his hands in pain.
The video shows him pleading with his wife: “This is not your fault. Please call my brother.”
In the video, his sobbing wife can be heard saying: “He’s going to jail.”
Contreras called 911 immediately after speaking to his wife, saying, “I just shot my son.”
When police arrived at Contreras’ home, they found Eric, a Florida International University student, dead from a gunshot wound, the New York Post reported.
Contreras was taken into custody and entered a not guilty plea to a second-degree murder charge at his trial on Nov. 27. The exact sequence of events that led to a father-son dispute escalating into a gun violence tragedy remains unclear.
Contreras is being held without bail until his next court hearing scheduled for March 11.
