Harsha Bhogle says, ‘Some average bowling match’

The start of IPL 2024 against SunRisers Hyderabd was nothing short of a horror show for the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians. The SRH batsmen dismissed the MI bowlers with figures of 148/2 in 10 overs. Travis Head hit a half-century off 18 balls while Abhishek Sharma hit 50 off 16 balls. Before this match, no other SRH batsman had scored 50 runs in less than 20 balls in the IPL. Against MI, SRH scored 81 points – their highest score in IPL history.

Renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bogle aptly summed up the circumstances of the exit.

“Wow, unbelievable batting and now the result of the boundary barrage is some mediocre bowling. I don’t think anyone saw this coming. #MI was demolished with only one Bumrah,” Harsha Bhogle posted on X.

“Every boundary that Head takes, and there have been many, brings back the importance of catching the ball. He is a great player! You can only bat the way Head does if you are completely fearless.”

Earlier, Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians (MI) won the toss and decided to play first against PA in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday. Cummins’ Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

We are” Be positive and look forward to challenges. Just trying to spend time with all the players. Get to know them better. Luke missed a change,” Pandya said.

On the other hand, Cummins said that Jaydev Unadkat will replace T Natarajan. He added that Travis Head will open the batting for Hyderabad’s Marco Jansen.

“Looks like a good wicket. Not too frustrating. It’s a tough game and the crowd and conditions will help. Some changes. Jansen’s head came in. Natarajan has a little problem , Unadkat comes in. We have a great team and the guys playing tonight have to give it their all,” Cummins said.
