An Olympian, Aikins-Aryte competed at both the 2008 Games in Beijing and the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, representing Team GB in the 4×100 meters relay team – but she came home without a medal on both occasions.

Aikness-Aryete won gold in the 4×100 relay at both the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games, and also finished first in the same event at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 European Championships.

In 2023, he was announced as Gladiator on the reboot of the beloved BBC show, which became famous on ITV in the 1990s.
