Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League due to a shoulder injury. The 30-year-old, who plays for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, suffered a shoulder injury while fielding against Karachi Kings on Friday night and left the field. He will take four to six weeks to regain fitness. “MRI scan and other tests have revealed that he has a dislocated shoulder which will take time to heal hence he is out of the PSL,” a Lahore Qalandars spokesperson said.

This is a big blow for the Lahore team, who have now lost all four of their games despite being the defending champions. They lost to Karachi Kings by two wickets in the final over on Saturday.

Haris, whose central contract was recently terminated by the Pakistan Cricket Board on disciplinary grounds, is expected to take time to recover from a shoulder injury.

Pakistan’s first international match after the PSL is the home T20 series against New Zealand in April.
