Gurgaon student beaten by 20 boys outside school

An 11th-grade student was allegedly attacked by a group of boys in front of a private school in Sushant Lok and was rushed to hospital with multiple injuries, including both eyes, police said on Wednesday.

Police said the gang arrived in five vehicles and first tried to kidnap the victims.

They said the entire incident was captured on CCTV installed in the teaching building. The victim suffered multiple injuries to his body, including his eyes, and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Amit Dahiya, a resident of Gurugram’s Krishna Colony, received a call from his son’s school on Tuesday afternoon informing him that his son had been admitted to Umkar Hospital for assault, police said. . “When I reached the hospital, I found my son’s condition was very bad,” Dahiya said in the complaint, according to police.

He said his son told him that three boys from the school and 17 other people were waiting for him outside the school gates and when he came out, they beat him. Dahiya told police they wanted to kill his son.

“They came in five cars and surrounded him with the intention of forcing him into one of the cars. The defendant also concealed the number plate by sticking stickers on the car. Police said school staff have confirmed what happened, The entire incident was captured on CCTV.” Based on his complaint, Sushant Lok police station on Tuesday night filed a case under IPC sections 147 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (causing hurt) and 506 (Criminal intimidation) and an FIR was registered against the suspect.

“The injured student is not fit to give a statement but is reported to be in stable condition. We are conducting raids to nab the suspects,” said Inspector Rishikant, SHO of Sector 29 police station.
