Grimes faces ‘difficulty’ during 50-minute Coachella performance

Grimes encountered “significant technical difficulties” during her 50-minute performance at the 2024 Coachella Music Festival.

Before reaching the halfway mark, Grimes claimed she had to start over Music 4 machine several times.

Grimes complained that the song was playing twice as fast as she expected, explaining: “It’s a hard thing to explain, but we had a major technical error,” she said. “Don’t judge me for being calculating.”

She even admitted that she couldn’t “do the math” in time, trying to recall the “rhythm of each song” she had lined up in her head.

In turn, the singer decided to play some of her unreleased songs, which she recorded a few days ago.

Grimes let out an angry scream, saying as the set fell apart: “I’m trying to think hard. I’m not good enough at math to do these things.”

Eventually, however, she was “brought into genesis,” the stage was cut short, and the singer was forced to exit.
