Sakeena Itoo Madri Meerban Institute visits Srinagar, reviews its functioning
Health and Medical Education Minister, Social Welfare and Education, Sekena Itu, today visited the Madri Mehraban Welfare Institute Missken Bagh and reviewed the functioning of the institution.
Director Social Welfare Kashmir, Director Finance Social Welfare Department, District Social Welfare Officer Srinagar and other senior officials of the department accompanied the minister during the visit.
On this occasion, the trustees and employees of the institute informed the minister about the services being provided by the institute to orphans, tribal students, financially disadvantaged children, destitute women and other needy people.
On this occasion, engaged to the trustees, employees and beneficiaries of the institute, the minister highlighted that this center has been serving as an important support center for the needy for the last several decades.
Appreciating the institute’s selfless efforts, the minister highlighted Omar Abdullah’s commitment, in which the government led the government to the government for inclusive development and upliftment of the deprived communities. “Institutions such as Madri Mehraban embodies a sense of compassion and flexibility. The government is firm to support such institutions, so that no underprivileged person is left behind,” Sekena said.
The minister further said that the government is committed to strengthening the ground -level welfare infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir for the welfare of the general public.
He assured the government’s full support in addressing operational challenges, stating that the real issues and concerns faced by the institute would be immediately addressed.
