Google SGE can now help you plan your vacation, get shopping suggestions; learn how it works

Google’s latest update makes planning a vacation even easier. Now you can use artificial intelligence (AI) to create travel itineraries for your trips. Google announced this new feature called Search Generated Experiences (SGE), which helps users plan their journeys using artificial intelligence. It collects ideas from various websites as well as user reviews and photos to recommend attractions, restaurants, flights and hotels for your trip.

Currently in the United States, where users who sign up for Search Labs are only available in English, this feature lets you ask about specific travel plans, such as a three-day historical visit to Philadelphia, and receive a sample itinerary.Once you’re happy with your plan, you can export it to Gmail, Docs, or Maps for easy access, according to Techcrunch Report.

While there’s no option to purchase the service directly through Google yet, the update shows how the company is experimenting with artificial intelligence and collecting data on travel preferences. It also makes it easier to discover suggestions, lists of publishers and other users, and tools for customizing and organizing your travel plans in Google Maps.

Google AI personalized shopping recommendations

In addition to travel planning, Google SGE is also enhancing its shopping experience. Now you can get personalized style recommendations when you search for clothing, shoes, and accessories. By thumbing up or down or swiping like Tinder to rate products, Google will tailor the results to your preferences. If you change your mind, you can easily manage your preferences.

The update is currently available to U.S. shoppers using mobile browsers and the Google app. Google SGE aims to make shopping more personal and convenient, competing with other retail giants such as Amazon and Walmart.
