External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Archbishop Paul Richard Galagher on Thursday, who was the secretary of relations with states and international organizations of Holi C.

In a post on X, Jaishankar said, “Archbishop Paul Richard Galagher, Secretary of Relations of States and Holy C, a good conversation about the importance of faith, a good conversation about the importance of faith, and a good interaction about the need for dialogue and diplomacy to address conflicts.”

In Jaishankar’s meeting with the Vatican officer, the emphasis on dialogue and diplomacy comes under the backdrop of its recent comments on increasing unrest in the international system. Speaking a day earlier, the minister had expressed concern over the struggles, intensifying competition and increasing strong pressures, and urged the global community to work together to stabilize the world system.

Addressing the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council at Tianjin, Jaishankar, while addressing the global outlines, emphasized the immediate work of de-regging of global outlines, which were constantly facing challenges to share global interests.

“We are found in the time of considerable disorders in the international system. Over the years, we have seen more conflicts, competition and force. Economic instability is also increasing. The challenge before us is to stabilize the global order, stabilize various dimensions and through all, to face the challenges that endanger our collective interests.”

During the meeting of the Chinese Foreign Minister and CPC Central Committee’s political bureau member, Wang Yi, Tianjin, during the meeting of the SCO’s members States of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), proposed five major suggestions for the future development of SCO, which emphasized the need to strengthen its role in the midst of global disturbance.

Eam Jaishankar also attended a meeting with other foreign ministers of the member states.
In a statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang highlighted the vision for the SCO, which was aimed at guiding the organization through a period of accelerating the century old changes, where multiproovelism and economic globalization is deepening, yet challenges such as dominance, protectionism and regional conflict.

“Currently, the old changes of the century are accelerating, and disturbance and changes are mutually connected and resonance. The world is becoming more multi -polar, and economic globalization is getting deeper, and the global south is increasing significantly. At the same time, going against dominance, the history and the future are responsible for the future,” Wong quoted in the statement. (AI)
